Global is currently looking to hire an individual for the position of Sr. Business Development Fuel Oil to large commercial, industrial end-users as well as public and private bids in the Hudson Valley in New York State with a focus on motor fuels (ULSD & gasoline).


This is an exciting opportunity for a high energy, detailed oriented person with one of the Northeast’s largest suppliers of petroleum products.

Job Description


  • Develop relationships with various industry groups to promote motor fuel sales.
  • Maintain and update various databases or potential prospects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Search out Public and Private Bid opportunities.
  • Keep customers informed of changes in the industry.
  • Keeps abreast of all industry trends and market intelligence and inform senior management.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications and Desired Skills


  • Existing book of business.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Management, Marketing or related field preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with professionals in positions of influence.
  • Solid analytical and problem solving ability.
  • Ability to gather and disseminate competitive information.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Must be a self-motivator.
